New Opera West is thrilled to introduce the Lullaby Project in Los Angeles, harnessing music’s power to heal and transform. The project pairs expecting parents and caregivers experiencing challenging life circumstances with professional artists to compose and record personal lullabies for their babies, supporting maternal health, aiding childhood development, and strengthening the bond between parent and child. We are honored to partner with the Kaiser Medical in Los Angeles and Holos Community, an organization dedicated to creating spaces for all people to lead fuller lives. This program is in partnership with the Lullaby Project of Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute. Read more about the studied impact of the Lullaby Project here.
